Tivo

Hi,

we are just about to purchase a smart TV, is there any reason to keep the Virgin TV?

we only have the basic package + broadband and landline.

if we decide to keep the Tivo can we put it in another room?

Thanks Tony.

Re: Tivo

Your smart TV still requires a source for its channels. Do you intend to use an external aerial, a satellite dish or stick with your TiVo?

Re: Tivo

Not sure how it all works, but I was thinking the smart tv would come off the wi fi!
mabe put old tv in a bedroom and the TiVo if not expensive to transfer or just cut my bills and cancel the tivo

Re: Tivo

Any TV requires one of the three sources I mentioned previously to access your channels.

The Internet connection of a smart TV just gives access to the smart applications which are available on the TV.
