TiVo box did not record - lost power

Went away on for long weekend. Came back to discover that none of my planned recordings were made. Reason "Power loss", but there was no power power loss! I understand this was due to a software "upgrade" that means if you leave you TiVo box in standbye. It does not make planned recordings. I call this a downgrade not an upgrade. How long am I going to have to spend on the phone trying to get this soughted out and claiming compensation!!!!

Thanks for posting!

I'm really sorry for the trouble this has caused you.

We've picked up an issue with the latest TiVo® update. While our team is working to fix this, we recommend turning off the Power Save feature.

To do this, just press Home on your remote control then select Help and Settings, Settings, Devices, Power Saving Settings and then Off (No power saving).

Telling me what I already know and not answering my question is not helpful. I asked how long was going to take to get this problem resolved and get compensation for lost viewing?
