The remote control is part of your TV service, so you need to use the TV faults option. It doesn't have or need a separate menu option.
Here's a comparison example, my Superhub failed and I needed it replaced. As the Superhub is part of my broadband service, I would take that up with the broadband faults team.
Call back in to 150 / 0345 454 1111, go into the main menu, then faults (option 2) and then the "If you have a fault with your TV service" option (usually option 2.) If it says some tests need to be done, let it run them, it should put you through to an agent afterwards or if you call in again after the automated test - you wouldn't encounter it and would instead get straight through to an agent.
