TV in garden room

Guys.

I have the full virgin media package of fibre optic broadband and TV. Recently upgraded both boxes to V6.

We've just finished a garden room which has mains power and I've got a good broadband connection via a powerline. How can I get to watch TV out there? Do I need a box installation? I know I can watch on the laptop with TV anywhere but I'd prefer to have real TV.

Many thanks. Brian

Re: TV in garden room

You cannot use a V6 box without a connection to Virgins coax cable. This would have to be installed by a qualified engineer. Long cable runs can also cause issues with signal levels so its not a simple operation. The cost for the alterations will be a flat rate £99 as the visit would not be fault related.

Re: TV in garden room

if you want VM TV then you will need a box and a coax cable installing by VM.

If you only want basic channels why not try Freeview or Freesat HD
