TV anywhere

I have the app on my phone, but other than when I'm actually at home (so pointless) it doesn't allow me to watch anything. What am I doing wrong?

Re: TV anywhere

Hi savlinton,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue streaming from TV Anywhere when away from home.

When trying to stream when away from home, are you connected to a wifi network?

What channel are you streaming?

What error message are you getting?

Can you also let me know what make and model your device is?

What OS are you running?

Speak soon,

Hello

When trying to stream when away from home, are you connected to a wifi network? yes sometimes and with 4G - does it not work 4G and have to be wifi?

What channel are you streaming? trying any, I just thought like my Sky Go account I can just watch anything from my package.

What error message are you getting? this I need to check when next out of the house, sorry will share ASAP and I can't recall

Can you also let me know what make and model your device is? iPhone 6 plus

Re: TV anywhere

Streaming with TV Anywhere is wifi only.

In common with Sky Go, you cannot watch all channels in your package. In fact, TV Anywhere has more channels than Sky Go.

Re: TV anywhere

Hi savlinton,

Thanks for coming back to me with your information Smiley Happy

As mentioned by Ernie_C, streaming from TV Anywhere only works when you're connected to a wireless network. If you're on 4G then you would get an error.

The channels you are able to stream via TV Anywhere can be identified by the little streaming icon to the left of the channel logo. If it doesn't have one of these then streaming on that channel with be unavailable.

If you can try streaming channel 4 when connected to wifi, do you face any issues?

Come back and let me know.

Thanks,
