TIVO FRUSTRATION

Tivo is great if like me you are a channel surfer and enjoy changing times of progs-however on occasions the recording just stops after a few minutes-even trying to "recover" does not work-only an intermittent fault, most recordings are fine, but it seems a little early to have "hard drive" problems as equipment is quite new.

Re: TIVO FRUSTRATION

Hi Anthony4,

Thank you for coming back to the Community and posting Smiley Happy

I'm sorry to hear about the TiVo here and especially when trying to use the features.

I've had a little look here and I can see there are some considerable T3 timeouts that would be culprit here, you'll need an engineer.

I've sent you a 'Private Message', you can find this by clicking on the little purple envelope near the top right of the page.

Get back to me when you can.

Ben

Re: TIVO FRUSTRATION

Thank you-will contact VM after Christmas if problem persists-engineers are very helpful and I record very little to keep-however I have a few things like "Car Share" and the "Cilla" films which I would lose if the hard drive had to be changed.

Thank you for your prompt reply and hope you enjoy the Christmas break
