I've had my virgin box switched off for ages and decided to switch on to have a look at the tv and have a message saying my smartcard is invalid with a reference of 3014 at the bottom.
What does this mean, i'm still being charged for the tv but my card is invalid, does anyone advise me on this as its the weekend i don't want to wait on the phone for ages.

When you leave the box off for some time, it gets de-activated from the cable network.
If you require this re-activated urgently, you will have to call in to request this.
You can wait here for one of the forum team to do it for you but there is no guarantee on timescale as this is essentially a community forum.
