The TV Anywhere and Sky platforms are separate and therefore not synced so any changes made to one, also need to be made to the other.
Since posting have you been able to stream via Sky Sports?
If not go to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Sky Movies & Sky Sports. Remove one of the current registrations by clicking on the Delete button.
Using the device you are wanting to watch Sky Sports on, attempt to stream and this should register the device automatically.
