Sky Movies HD?

Hi,

if I have access to sky movies HD channels should they actually be in HD? To me they look to be standard defininition.  If I look at my sky sports channels I can see that they are in HD. This issue seems to be on all the movie HD channels.

Re: Sky Movies HD?

If you pay the £7 HD subs, & use the HD channel number for the channel on the EPG you should be getting HD. Certainly the modern films should look better, but some of the older ones will not upscale, so may not look as good as expected.

Re: Sky Movies HD?

Hmmm, I have compared a couple of Sky HD film channels with the SD channels and can see no difference at all. Where I can see a difference on the Sky Sports when I compare. Think I wil give Virgin a call.
