Sick of being a cash cow...

... I'm off to FreeSat.

I've been a customer since 1996 and I'm sick of VM boasting about how they're improving my service by adding crap i don't need whilst using it as an excuse to put their prices up several times a year; so I'm paring back to broadband only and going Freeview/Freesat.

Just for good measure I'm moving our (3) mobile phone accounts too.

Sounds like an idea, spiralling fees etc, do you know if you can use the optic cable for free sat?

I have been tempted to get rid of the TV, but just Broadband & Phone would only save me £4.50/month (£22/month v £17.50/month) .  I have Amazon Prime and Now TV and along with the occasional month of Netflix.  I haven't missed the other TV channels.  I am currently getting XL for three months as it works out cheaper than getting BT Sport separately.
