Returning a faulty v+ box

I had a new Samsung V+ box delivered last Thursday as the old one went south after an outage, and I was told a label would be sent for me to post back the defective equipment, i have still not got it. Anyone know how long i should wait before chasing?

The V+HD you have is not new. They ceased production 6 years ago, so the one you have as a replacement will have had at least one previous owner if not more before being refurbished & sent to you.

Virgin only ask for TiVO boxes to be returned now. All other TV boxes can be disposed of at a local recycling facility.
