I recorded live skiing on Sunday. The TIVO box shows 1 hour 15 minutes recorded. When I try to watch the recording it plays for 5 minutes, pauses, returns to the beginning and plays the first 5 minutes again.
I rang Virgin. I was told that I need to add 3 hours to every live recording to ensure that I can watch the full recording every time. I recorded a replay of the same event on Monday. That has only recorded the last 11 minutes of the programme.
Do I really have to add 3 hours to each live sport recording?

I would really like to help here and I've been able to look into your hard drive, (which I thought may well be the reason). Looks like your TiVo is working as it should however, have you been able to see if this happens on other recordings also?
