Price rise from BT

Why a price rise for BT sport's European coverage? There should be corresponding reduction in Sky's package as they no longer supply these games.

I was coming on to make the exact same point. Time to start cutting down the package, the price rises are coming too frequently.

You must be joking. The EU's competition rules make sure EVERYONE pays more. With BT bidding for more & more sports rights, the prices Sky are paying to renew their existing rights (golf, tennis etc) is going through the roof. The more competition there is in the market, the higher the bids go. The only people making money are the governing bodies that sell the rights.
