Re: Premier Sport on XL...?

Any chance of a repeat in 2016?    The summer on BT Sport amd Sky Sports is not too thrilling for me now the football is gone for the summer.  Probably just watch BBC/ITV.

Re: Premier Sport on XL...?

Anything might happen over the summer. VM's deal with BT is up for renewal. If it does remain in XL, (& there is a consensus of opinion now that it will), then nothing will change. If it leaves XL we could well find a "sports pack" being offered combining all the sports channels in one pack.

BT sport's viewing figures for the Champions League are so low, UEFA are seriously concerned enough to consider pulling the plug on them and re-tendering.  Given England is one of the top three countries, sponsors can't be pleased with the total lack of exposure.   The last thing BT Sport needs is to lose a load of VM viewers who I suspect form a significant proportion of the audience as it is bundled in XL.

I don't know what BT Sport broadcast during the summer when all the club football and rugby stops.  After the Champions League final (now free to air), there isn't much on in June or July.    Premier Sports has a far better summer offering.  Well it does for us GAA fans!

Re: Premier Sport on XL...?

So any chance of this this summer?     How about replacing BT Sport with it? :-)
