On demand but available on v+ but available on TiVo in other room

Hi there.

 

My on demand has been unavailable not for a couple of weeks in our v+ box (error message 1050) but is working fine in the other room on our TiVo box. The 'online' light is on on the v+ box and the hard drive has plenty of room. Any ideas anyone?

Welcome to the Forum.

I've done a Google search for this error. The one post I
can find is pessimistic about the life of your V+ box.

Personally I would do two things. Check the connections from the wall plate to the box - make sure all is tight. Secondly phone in a fault - tv faults on 150. These faults that go on for a long time are not self curing and you have left things for a fortnight!

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum.

 

 My apologies you are having issues with your V+ HD box.  As HowardML has already said, it's probably box specific and  that's supported when I've looked at the account for you the next step would be to send an engineer out.

 

I'm going to send you a private message to see when would be best for you and it would be great if you could get back to me on this.  You can find that in the red envelope next to your name on the forum.
