No programme information on set top box TV guide

For the last few days, I have had 'No programme information' showing on my V+Plus box for BT Sport ESPN. Rebooting the box has not sorted it. Programme info for BT Sport ESPN HD shows up fine.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

My advise is before calling faults, give the box a proper "cold" reset. i.e Turn the box off at the back & leave it for 20 minutes, then restart.

As nodrogd has mentioned have you tried to reset the box and if so has it made any difference?

 

If not I would like to book a technician for you to check the box so just let me know,

Hi, I am experiencing the same issue. It's annoying, as I like to record American college football games overnight, and obviously I can't now, as anything beyond two hours ahead in the schedule is "No Program information". I've tried turing the box on and off again, even left it off overnight but no joy.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello,

After some weeks away, I returned to find the message "No Programme Information" on the display when I go into TV Guide. I have tried re-booting and checked cables but this has not worked. The TV programmes show if I scroll through the channels, but the menus and programme information on the channels selected are not showing, or rather, have the message "No Programme Information". 

Can you help, please?

Thank you for your post, it's good to meet a new member Smiley Happy

 

The programme information is supplied to your TV through updates during the early hours of the morning, at times when this doesn't happen like the box being turned off at the wall, your guide doesn't have the right data on schedules etc.

 

It's not a massive problem, you can bring this up to date by trying this:-

 

  1. Press Home on your TiVo remote
  2. Select Help & Settings.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Select Network.
  5. Choose Connect to the Virgin Media Service now.

Thanks for the info, but I tried this and it didn't work! It's taken a while as I don't switch on my TV very often, but when i do, I'd like to see the programme info! Would it be possible to send someone out?
