New TV Set

How do I make Virgin TV box work with a new TV?
(I'm an idiot with this sort of stuff!)

Re: New TV Set

Its really easy, im sure you will be fine

If you plug the virgin box into HDMI1 on the back of the TV and then put the tv on HDMI1 you should get a picture

Re: New TV Set

Thank you! I'm totally techno challenged. TV is coming tomorrow but if it's just putting existing cables into the new one...maybe even I can manage that. I was anticipating having to do lots of reprogramming of the TV, of boxes and remotes!

Wish me luck!

Re: New TV Set

It really is just as simple as plugging the cables in like for like.

The remote control may need reprogrammed in order to operate the volume on your TV.

Are you using a TiVo box?

Re: New TV Set

Thank you EightBall.

I THINK I have done it! Was trying to program in channels without realising that the channels are in the Virgin box and not on the TV. As I said - I'm totally useless with this stuff!
