My smart card is invalid

I have just turned on my extra box in my bedroom and it is saying my smart card is invalid, I haven't used it for a while could this be the problem also how do I get it reactivated

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear your smart card is invalid.

 

I've managed to locate your account to run some tests. I've sent the relevant signals down. If you can now restart the box in question you should find the service is working.

 

Please let me know how you get on.

I see from your other post here you've been decorating. Hope it's looking good for you.

 

Anyway, I've gone ahead and sent the signals once more. Restart the box again and it should all be back on.

If it's left off long enough this error does happen.

also how do I get it reactivated

A member of the Forum Team should pick up on your topic tomorrow or at worst up to 48 hours. They'll send signals down to your STB to get it working normally again. Or call in to 150 / 0345 454 1111 and report a TV fault and get the same thing done (open until midnight.)
