Unable to receive QVC, get purple message box up asking to check that channel is on air & if it is to contact Virgin Media

I'm really sorry to hear that you are currently unable to watch QVC. Our network technicians are currently working on getting this back up and running as we've discovered an issue.
The reference for this is F003957457 and we currently have an estimated fix time of 3am tomorrow, however this is subject to change.
