It could be a faulty HDMI lead

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your picture.
If the HDMI lead is OK then we just need to test the port on the TV. Can you change the HDMI to another source in the TV for me? If it's in HDMI-1, for example, move it into HDMI-2 and re-test.
If it still does the same even after changing the ports then it's likely the TiVo®'s HDMI port may be faulty.
