I recently requested Virgin to remove a VHD box from my package, leaving just my TIVO and V+ boxes. As a result of this, I now find that when I use the V+ (which should have been unaffected by the change) I get a message saying the smartcard is invalid.
Note that I have tried power-cycling the V+, and tried temporarily swapping in the disabled VHD box's card just to make sure there hadn't been a mix-up. Neither of these actions fixed the problem.
Any idea why this is occurring? I can PM the smartcard ref no if required.
