how frustrating but serious network issues in my area,anyone else suffering? Been told it will take a few days

I've taken a look at things today and there doesn't appear to be any fault now open for your area.
How are things looking since the fault cleared?
I've checked the stats on your box today and it's looking much better so things should be good.
