How to refuse BT Sport Europe and return monthly TV XL payment to agreed amount at inception?

I originally took out Virgin media XL package @ circa £74. 95 a month premium, I have had since successive price increases ostensibly excused by the addition of certain TV channels I never did want and never did ask for.

How do I return my account to its original monthly cost and decline this BT Sport Europe Channel foisted upon me from 1st August, and decline too the £3 a month increase in subscription which I have also not ever solicited?

Call 150 and ask.

I don't know how long you have had XL, but the addition/removal of channels is constant so whatever you originally subscribed to is never going to be what you subscribe to now.

As for the £3 increase, you might have a bigger increase if BT Sport wasn't part of XL.  I suspect many people get BT Sport via XL rather than pay the £15/month as a stand alone.

I don't want kids channels nor lifestyle channels nor religious channels nor porn preview channels foisted on my family, but I get them and effectively pay for them.  I just don't watch them.

lenwayman. If you are still in contract, & have XL TV as a TV pack, you can cancel within 30 days notice of the increase & not pay early disconnection charges. However, you cannot opt out of receiving the new channel (or the increase) & stay on the pack. It is part of the terms & conditions that channels can be added or removed by broadcasters at any time.

To be fair, I was coming on here to rant about the BT Europe channel too.

I don't care about the channel nor want it, nor asked for it, yet "Here you go, for £3 you get it, and you can't opt out. Suck it up cupcake".

I can honestly say hand on heart I'll never even flick to the channel, there's nothing on there I even want to see. And I don't care about sky customers paying £23 odd extra a month to get those channels, they have the choice not to get them!
