HD recordings pixelated

We can watch channels in HD perfectly, but when we record them they play back pixelated.
We've set series links to 'never' record in HD, but they still record from the HD channels. We've deleted existing series links and re-added them but they still record in HD. It says get HD 'if possible' even though we set it to 'never'.
We've tried resetting the box and have run status tests, but nothing is reported as wrong and we've still had no luck.
Any suggestions how we can fully stop things recording in HD or how we can watch the recordings in HD without them being pixelated?

Re: HD recordings pixelated

Sounds as if you have an issue with the HDD in the box. Ring it in and you can get a replacement sorted.

Re: HD recordings pixelated

Hi Chrisjbullen

Welcome to the Community, I'm very sorry to learn about the problems you're experiencing with your recorded content recently.

I've located your account and run some tests on the set top box form our end for you, we're detecting some minor errors with your hard drive but as you've been experiencing the problems you have, I'd like to arrange for an engineer to come and take a closer look, if you're available?

I've sent you information regarding this in a private message, which you can view by clicking the envelope on the top right of this page.

Apologies again for the inconvenience caused, we'll talk soon.

Craig
