Got a TIVO box will buy a TV.

Q1. Is it worth buying a smart TV if so why?

Q2 Is it worth buying a TV with Full HD or is HD ready good enough

Re: HD ready or Full HD and Smart TV

1) Depends what you want. The apps available on TiVO will differ from a Smart TV, so check out the manufacturers website & see what is currently provided.

2) Full HD is now becoming more or less the norm, & all TV sets should now be sold with Freeview HD (MPEG4) tuners installed. If you have (or are intending to have) Freeview as well as cable, don't buy a standard Freeview (MPEG2) only set, as with the coming of 5G the set may be obselete in less than 2 years. Also both the TiVO & V6 are 1080p capable, & some app content may be provided in 1080p.
