Freeview and TiVo

Can I still use Freeview on my television when it is connected to TiVO? Or is it impossible to use the DTV function through the rooftop aerial? I don't want to have to disconnect and reconnect cables every time I want to switch services.

Re: Freeview and TiVo

As long as your TV is still connected to a roof aerial you can use the built-in Freeview

...by changing the Source on your TV to TV to get Freeview and changing the Source back to whichever HDMI port you have the TiVo connected to to return to cable channels.

Tried that and there's no signal. It doesn't appear to be connected.

Re: Freeview and TiVo

The tech who installed TIVo seems to have disconnected the cable which runs to the rooftop aerial- I don't know where to plug it in to the TV without disconnecting TiVo in the process. Should I get a Virgin Media technician to come out?

Re: Freeview and TiVo

You TiVO plugs into the HDMI socket of your TV, which looks nothing like the aerial socket.

The aerial socket looks like thisBellingleeconnectorjack.jpg
