Extra TV box problems.

I've Virgin tv/broadband and phone.
I've a tivo box in the living room
A V+ box in one bedroom and 2 V HD boxes in the 2 other rooms.
The Tivo box works with no problems but the other boxes upstairs either don't get the HD channels or get them and are glitchy, breaking up freezing and so on.
Any ideas please?

Sounds like they have signal issues that will require an engineer to resolve.

I presume the connection points are all on original cabling provided by Virgin Media?

Yes they are all on original cables.
Is there a way of checking signal?

If you contact faults on the phone, or wait here for a Forum Team member to respond, they can interrogate your equipment remotely to diagnose any signal problems.
