Error code 7400

Hi my Virgin was installed this morning and there's a purple box on my screen saying sorry there seems to be a problem the guy said it would be there for 10 minutes and now it's been there for two and a half help please

Welcome to the Community, I'm very sorry to learn about the problems you're experiencing with your TV service lately.

 

I've located your account and can see you've called in regarding this issue, hits were sent to the set top box and there was an immediate improvement. I hope that's still the case?
