Error 7400

Hey everyone

I haven't used my second box in my bedroom for ages. I've turned it on and it now has an error message and a fault code of 7400. I've done everything suggested but nothing is working. Could anyone offer any help or suggestions?

That's your problem. After about a week of being powered off, Virgin Media set-top boxes are 'kicked off' the network. Just give them a ring, use the option for "if there's a fault with your TV service" and ask them to send an activation signal down the line.

Hi Doodles1, 

 

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you're having an issue with your second box. 

 

As already advised, when a box is left off for so long it will become inactive. 

 

I have sent some reactivation hits down the line this evening so if you reboot the box things should start working again Smiley Happy

Hey Kath

Thank you so much for replying and putting the signal down the line. Unfortunately as I was getting the error come up constantly I had turned off and unplugged the box.

Is there any way of re sending this down my line as I have the box all plugged in now
