Error 7400

Hi

I am a new customer so don't know if this is a common problem. I turned on my tv tonight to find I had no picture or sound. I called up an spoke to an advisor who rebooted my tivo box remotely. I now have picture and sound but only a handful of channels and an error message 7400 saying there is a problem. Can anyone help please?
