Error 3008

Can you help me with my smart card please as this error don't go and I can't update card or channels via help either sadly.

Hi Richard,

 

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

 

I'm sorry to hear you're getting a Smart Card invalid error 3008. This usually happens if the box hasn't been switched on for a while and it loses connection to our service.

 

I've managed to locate your account to run some tests. I've sent the relevant signals down the line to get the box updated. Please restart the TV box. Is this now working?

 

Please let me know if there are any further issues.

Hi Rich,

It isn't working it still says the following...

Thanks for inserting your smart card we are just checking your details..

Now follow the steps in the pack sent with your card on the screen.

It has ref 3008 still and yes the box was taken off for around a year!

Can you suggest what else we can do or arrange a call from you maybe.
