Downgraded package but new bill hasn't been reduced!

Hi I downgraded from the XL package to the M package about a week ago and made a saving of around £30 a month. I've had email confirmation and a letter confirming the new price but when my bill for Feb arrived by email yesterday it's still showing my old bill cost! Does anyone know why this would be the case? Thanks.

I would guess the bill you pay in february is for january's TV

I wondered if that was the case but the guy on the phone who downgraded me told me I pay a month in advance.
