Channel info stuck 25%

Came home yesterday to Virgin box stuck on all the lights, restarted, and then it began the channel information procedure but keeps getting stuck on 25% and it won't go past this.

I have spoken to customer service who said they had sent a signal to the box, to restart it and all would be fine, and of course it isn't.

Looking at past questions on here it sounds like an issue that can't be sorted remotely.

Please could someone advise.
