Blocking Channels

It's about time Virgin gave us the option to block the BBC channels. This would mean we can stop paying for the licence for channels we don't watch and then afford the constant price hikes that Virgin keep on putting on us. Another £3.89 in Feb 2016 on top of the last one in Oct 2015. Well Virgin??? You can block the ones we don't pay for, how about letting us choose the ones we want blocking? Eh? eh?

Re: Blocking Channels

If Virgin block the channels they will breaking the law. PSB (Public Service Broadcast) channels are covered by a universal provision order policed by OFCOM. This states that all providers must make the PSB channels available unencrypted to all their customers.
