Random V6 Reboots

Hi,My V6 box has reset itself 3 times in the last week. When it resets it gets stuck on the 'welcome' screen and you have to power it off / on for it to reboot properly. Can the box be remotely looked at or does it require a technician?

How can I stop beeping noise?

Not a huge problem but I would like the option to turn off the beeping sound when navigating the menu etc on my V6 box using the remote control.  Is this possible? How? Thanks
