Re: YOUTUBE

Could be that you need to change the resolution options in the TiVo menus - The YouTube PQ is better on the TiVo than it is on my Samsung HU8500 with SEK3500 upgrade - the only thing that annoys me is the number of times the resolution switches (3840x2160/24p/25p/50p/60p) which causes black screens whilst the TV adjusts to the new refresh rate - although that is more of a YouTube issue than a TV one I guess.

Re: YOUTUBE

I have a V6 not Tivo. It has auto changed to my tv's screen res.

Don't understand what you mean by changing its resolutions.

Thanks

Re: YOUTUBE

Help & Settings -> Settings -> Video Output -> Video Output Format...

I have mine set as 2160p passthrough, 1080p, 1080p passthrough and 1080i...

Note that I do NOT have 2160p selected, as I find that the upscaler (for TV broadcasts, rather than YouTube, which is in the Passthrough section) in the V6 isn't as good as that in my TV, but - YMMV on that one...

Give it a go, and see what happens.

Re: YOUTUBE

It seems that all it needed was a reboot, got YouTube back and could see 4K.

Thanks all
