Why so difficult?

I have just tried to upgrade our service on the online chat and got nowhere. I am a registered user on the account but the wife made the initial purchase 10 years ago, so after spending 30 minutes trying to sort, what should be very simple upgrade, I am told because we want the old V Box removed (not used), it has to be a new contract and the wife to say yes.

It is just mad! What is the point of having me registered on the account - to pay the bills - if I cannot sanction a simple Tivo box to V6 upgrade? And why, if I have the Superhub 3 (Yes, I participated in the trial and not my wife), do I need an installation for swapping a box?

Getting really cheesed off with Virgin now, I can tell you.

Just ring retentions and save yourself a load of trouble.

Call 150 if you have a VM landline or 0345 454 1111 (chargeable) if you don't.

Take options 4 then 5 (correct as per last time I called), Thinking of Leaving. Don't be put off by the title as they handle all sorts of issues.

Incidentally, currently all V6 installations are by an engineer while it is bedded down.

Nice to be able to post again, after their mistake (removed by the Censorship team).

Just ring 150 option 4 then option 5 Thinking of leaving us.
