I have just tried to upgrade our service on the online chat and got nowhere. I am a registered user on the account but the wife made the initial purchase 10 years ago, so after spending 30 minutes trying to sort, what should be very simple upgrade, I am told because we want the old V Box removed (not used), it has to be a new contract and the wife to say yes.
It is just mad! What is the point of having me registered on the account - to pay the bills - if I cannot sanction a simple Tivo box to V6 upgrade? And why, if I have the Superhub 3 (Yes, I participated in the trial and not my wife), do I need an installation for swapping a box?
Getting really cheesed off with Virgin now, I can tell you.
