Which adaptor to use V6 box?

I received the new V6 box from Virgin.
My old TiVo box is connected via scart lead but the new box only has HDMI.
What kinda adaptor do I need?
I don't understand much of this.
Would appreciate if you could explain and if possible send me a picture off what it looks like.
And can I connect the old box to my bedroom tv,
Thanks

Re: Which adaptor to use V6 box?

Yes you are right that TV has no HDMI input or any other digital inputs at all. As nodrogd mentioned, you'll need a HDMI to Scart adaptor. These can be picked up for around £20 on Amazon. There will be some quality loss during the conversion from digital to analogue.

To really take advantage of the V6 box and the services you're paying for, you might want to purchase a new TV at some point as you can't get a HD picture with the one you currently have.

In the mean time, you are able to continue to use the TiVo box if you prefer but do give Customer Services a call to get this arranged otherwise you may find the box is deactivated shortly.

Re: Which adaptor to use V6 box?

The tv is connected via SCART lead to the old box.
I would need some sort of adaptor to connect to scart lead which would connect to HDMI socket of new box.
Does it make sense?

You need a HDMI to SCART Digital to Analogue converter like this:
