Virgin V6 box question

we have had two v6 boxes installed, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom. The lounge box is connected to the router via Ethernet the other wirelessly. Should we be able to watch recordings done on downstairs box on the upstairs box. The downstairs box is greyed out on upstairs box - why? Thanks for any help!

Hi
Found that if you go into settings you can change it to allow what I want to do. Thanks for the help!

Re: Virgin V6 box question

All existing VM Tivos have this facility. Perhaps something else needs to be turned on to allow this on a V6

Re: Virgin V6 box question

Ok
Go to home- then help and setting, then settings on the right.
Down to devices.
Then network remote control, then go right.
Move down to 'allow network-based remote controls.
Go right, they then want you to confirm by trappings the thumbs up button 3 times on your remote.
This will need to be done on all boxes you want to connect to.
Hope that's clear!

Re: Virgin V6 box question

In my limited experience, MRS works well.

I have had MRS working, watching programs located on a powerline-connected TiVo from a wifi-connected V6.
