V6

I've just had v6 installed which is vast improvement but when I fast forward or rewind there is a approx 4 second delay before sound comes through. I've tried various settings to no avail. Did not have this problem with old TiVo. Please help! Thanks.

Re: V6

Hi Wales1,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue with the sound on your V6 box.

In order to help you with this, I will need to have a little more information.

Can you let me know the following:

How are you connecting the V6 to the TV?

Do you have any 3rd party equipment connected too?

Do you find the sound dropping at any other time?

Is this happening when fast forwarding on recordings or live TV after pausing?

What settings do you have your V6 set to?

Come back and let me know Smiley Happy

Thanks,

Re: V6

Hi Kath. I'm connected via hdmi. I have ps4 which is also connected via ps4. The sound is only delayed when I fast forward or rewind,if I pause it plays back normally.
Also when I forward or rewind the av symbol comes up in top left corner of screen. Eg: av5 cable 1080p. Hope this helps. Neil.

Re: V6

Hi Wales1

Thanks for the response, this certainly is a strange issue.

Have you been able to test another HDMI cable at any point? Do you have any additional audio equipment plugged into the set top box or TV at all? Lastly, if you fast forward or rewind On Demand or recorded content, do you get the same result?

I've taken a look at things from our end and we're not detecting any errors, although if things are still the same we'll take a look at escalating this from our end.

Look forward to hearing from you

Craig
