The team are still working hard to get this issue resolved (reference NKE00008979) and hope to make some progress very soon.

 

I'm sorry again for the inconvenience caused, we're looking forward to getting this issue resolved.

Did a random check of the streaming issue. Everything is now working. I can stream, and download if a programme is available to download, on my iPhone. Thanks to whoever fixed this at virgin media!

Hi need bit of help here please,everytime i go to my virgin app ,it tells me about new streaming needs to be done,so i try and do it,it goes to the first bit and stays like that for 10 minutes and then my phone turn black (standy by) and will.need to start again

Really sorry to hear you're still having trouble with this.

 

Although some customers are able to complete the streaming setup, the issue still isn't fully resolved. Our technicians are working to get it sorted as soon as possible.

 

We'll update as soon as we hear anything.

I phoned Virgin up to find out what is happening with the streaming/downloading of recordings service a couple of weeks ago. The third person I spoke to finally admitted that there is indeed an issue with the V6 box and the problem is being looked into. I was told that 9 October is the target date by when the problem is estimated to be resolved.

Even then no sports, Sky or BBC recordings can be downloaded.

Finally the ability to download appeared on the virgin app on my Ipad.

It looks like the problem is fixed.
