V6 box needs daily restart

I received my new v6 box back in January and was really pleased with it until recently when I'm having to restart it almost daily. The box tends to lock up when I go from a menu back to watching tv. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way I can upgrade the software? Or is it just a case that there is a fault with the box?
