So I got a call from the customer services team last month regarding being a long term customer, and that I was entitled to a FREE upgrade to V6. I reiterated whether it was actually free and was reassured that it was free to receive and would not be charged anything on my next bill. Well low and behold I've received my bill via email and I am being charged £4 for upgrading. Normally I wouldn't be fussed but the fact I've been lied to it is clear to me I've been scammed and had my consumer rights violated. Has anyone else had this happen? If you get the call I'd be very dubious to believe anything Virgin says.
