V6 box fails on verification

I've just had installed 2 v6 boxs but both fail  on set up on the verification 😡

In order to help you with this we will need to know as much information as possible Smiley Happy 

 

Can you come back and let me know the following:

How is your V6 box connected to the network? 

On the front of your box do you have 2 white lights or 1 white and one red/flashing amber?

Do you get any error message? If so what is it?

So does the new V6 box have to be connected to both the tv virgin media wall connection and the internet modem? Will VM allow non-VM modems to be used? SKYQ does allow this flexibility.

Yes, the V6 does not have it's own internet connection as TiVo did so it has to be connected either via wifi, ethernet cable or power lines to your Superhub.

AFAIK there is no reason this has to be Virgin Media broadband.

During install, if no direct ethernet connection is in place, a list of available wifi SSIDs is presented to choose from.

Good to know it doesn't need to be VM for internet
