V6 Upgrade

I see some customers now have their hands on the new V6 box.  How do us long standing customers who have been putting up with the poor unsatisfactoy performance of the old Tivo box get an upgrade?

would have been nice if the people who signed up for info about the new box were given the chance to upgrade . Not heard anything yet

Surely those customers who have been with virgin media longer ought to have priority over new customers who will no doubt pay less...

Currently you don't. The V6 is not announced yet or generally available. Rumour is end of this month.

Yes, some new customers are getting the box as part of a soft launch.

My thoughts exactly Anthony_b especially after we have had to put up with the ridiculously slow performance of the current TiVo box.

It is quite ridiculous and yet when you ask for discounts, you keep getting the same answers and there is not much they can provide apart from unnecessary constant price hikes. To be honest, I have not seen a great deal of difference in the last year, the only thing is your comment on slow performance and for what we pay is simply not good enough

I was informed today by a Virgin customer agent that all customers on the highest package will be entitled to free upgrade to the V6 box which will be available from the second week in December.
