Use the remote to change TV input

Hi,

I've managed to set the V6 remote so that it controls channel, volume, mute and standby for the TV, but can't make it change input. Other answers suggest using the 'text' button to do this but the remote for a V6 doesn't have a text button. The subtitles button has no effect. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

If I recall, it's a long press of the TV button on the V6 remote.

Re: Use the remote to change TV input

Just be aware that on some TVs it will only half work i.e. it'll may well change the input but it won't dismiss the input on screen menu.

I think this is because some TV's expect an 'OK' type action on their remote after the input button press to confirm the input choice, and this isn't something that the V6 remote can send.
