Tivo apps - where have they gone -? ITV player!

I have kept it short and sweet. I'm not amused.  We are considering giving a month's notice - no ITV player! etc

Equally short.

There has never been an ITV Player app for TiVo or V6.

ITV Catchup and On Demand is delivered the way it has always been - directly down the co-ax cable.

However is BBCi player there, or do you have no apps at all?

Then why when you lose your network connection does the on demand stop working?

Well technically everything but your telephone comes through the coax.

ITV catchup has always been administered via the built in TiVo menu.

@EightBall. The new V6 box is a different design from the previous TiVo. It doesn't have a built in modem. Hence it needs the broadband connection for a lot of its functionality.

probably for handshaking, I've watched the internet data flowing.. data flowing for Iplayer, and nothing flowing for sky movies..

I am tempted to try pulling out the Ethernet cable in the middle of watching something on demand though to see what happens.

Surely it would stop. Once you remove your network, on demand goes down so that to me says on demand uses your Internet connection rather than coax otherwise surely the TV channels would stop too.
