Re: This content cannot be displayed because your TV does not support HDCP 2.2

I sorted this out, I just put one of these between the V6 box and the receiver

iSolem [1080P FULL HD] 1x2 3D HDMI Switch Box

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006KZBC92/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

it only cost £10.99

Re: This content cannot be displayed because your TV does not support HDCP 2.2

Many thanks for the link, I'm having pretty much the same problem, I have a 1080p display, V6 runs perfect HDMI to display, when I run it through my Marantz AV8802A I get the error message, I'm hoping this splitter can solve my problem. I don't want to run another HDMI cable to my display and use optical for sound, as its too much hassle, so fingers crossed this will work!

I will update if it is a go, it reads positive.

Re: This content cannot be displayed because your TV does not support HDCP 2.2

Had same issue when connecting my V6 to a Pioneer VSX-831 receiver, ended up swapping things around for a while trying to sort the problem as it was originally displaying the menu screens when originally connected and starting its initial setup.

Eventually sorted by connecting the V6 via one of the none HDCP 2.2 HDMI sockets on the receiver instead of the HDCP 2.2 one that was marked up for a CBL/SAT Source then renamed the input names on both sockets.

Not sure how this will effect what happens if you have 4K TV as mine is only a Full HD model.

Re: This content cannot be displayed because your TV does not support HDCP 2.2

I have a Marantz SR5010 and had this issue but when i connected the Virgin V6 box direct to the TV i had no issue.

I managed to cure this by going into the V6 box settings menu in outputs and selecting every resolution.

Re: This content cannot be displayed because your TV does not support HDCP 2.2

Panasonoc Viera > Onkyo NR 646 > V6

I have the same issue called Virgin today October 14 , they have recently acknowledged the issue , which was caused by a software update to the V6.

Why they didn't test it properly in the first place and then back out the change lord only knows , but they are looking at a fix, how they are going to let everyone know that the problem is resolved and when is another issue .

Luckily enough I had a Digital Optical cable and have tried the by pas but to no avail, so I plod on, not happy with Virgin to be honest I would thought that testing the compatability would have been first on there list !!!
