TV V6 setup in extension

We are having an extension built out the back of my house and wondering how best to supply TV to the extension TV area. We currently have a TiVo with supply coming in the front of the house and have been wondering about upgrading to the V6. I don't particularly want to lay coax cable right through the lounge and extension so am wondering if the following would work..

If i keep the TiVo in the lounge connected to the incoming cable and superhub, can i connect a V6 in the extension to the hub via power line adapter?

If so would i be able to watch all my subscription channels in both rooms? Any thoughts?

Thanks

Re: TV V6 setup in extension

No, every Virgin Media set top box requires a co-ax connection to the cable network.

Re: TV V6 setup in extension

Virgin generally bring the coax in from the outside into the room you want it, so would install a V6 into the extension from outside.
