Sharing between boxes...

So I just had 2 new V6 boxes installed and they won't communicate with each other. Any ideas how I can rectify this? I can't watch recordings from one box on the other...

Re: Sharing between boxes...

How is each V6 connected to your home network Superhub?

What do you see in each V6 when you navigate to the foot of each My Shows?

Re: Sharing between boxes...

I believe it can take up to 24 hours after installation for this to become available.

Apart from that you need to ensure that both boxes are connected to VM cable coax points and that both are also connected to your VM broadband network. The latter can be done via ethernet cable, powerline adapter or WiFi.

Re: Sharing between boxes...

Saturday they were installed. I'm guessing the software is buggy. Hopefully an update will resolve issues....

No reports of a software bug relating to this.  Other users on here report successful sharing.  So most likely to be a local network issue.  Are you able to try a more robust connection than wireless?

Try going into the hub settings and splitting the SSID so you can connect to the wireless 5ghz setting rather than auto or 2.4ghz.

Re: Sharing between boxes...

I rebooted both of my boxes and they seem to be working fine now. I did change the names of my boxes, so maybe that was the issue?

Re: Sharing between boxes...

I think one of them may have to be Ethernet if you want to do MRS both ways at the same time
